About The Position

Rezolut is seeking a PRN Breast Ultrasound Technologist for Assured Imaging in Phoenix, Arizona. Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the technologist performs diagnostic scanning procedures to produce consistent, high-quality examinations. This is an onsite, as-needed position. Pay starts at $40.00 per hour and depends on experience. Rezolut is a national diagnostic medical imaging services platform providing fixed-site outpatient diagnostic imaging, mobile imaging, and health services. Requirements

ARRT(S) or ARDMS certification.
CPR/BLS certification.
At least 1 year of breast ultrasound experience.
Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Good work ethic and a friendly, cheerful disposition.

Responsibilities

Prepare the exam room and ultrasound equipment for examinations.
Assist radiologists as needed with ultrasound-guided biopsies and vascular ultrasound procedures.
Recognize and record appropriate anatomy and pathology using sonographic equipment.
Care for sonography equipment and report equipment failures.
Write reports based on scan results and completion.
Alert appropriate medical staff to abnormalities requiring immediate attention.
Manage multiple priorities and projects, and remain flexible in a fast-paced work environment.
Communicate with radiologists and other healthcare providers about images and patient care.
Maintain sensitivity to patients’ physical and psychological needs.
Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPPA guidelines.
Carry out additional responsibilities and special projects as needed.
Pursue professional development to continually improve patient care.
