About The Position

This job involves checking for bones and excess fat attached to the product. The employee will remove bones using a knife and pull off or trim excess fat with a knife. This position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach. Lifting is also required, with the weight depending on the specific area. The work environment is cold, damp, or humid, and may have slippery walking surfaces. Applicants must provide their government identification number for verification of previous Tyson employment history. This facility will not accept applicants who have worked for Tyson three or more times and accepts rehires after one year (365 days), though Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or deny rehires based on the reason for dismissal. Relocation assistance is not eligible for this role. Certain roles require background checks, and applicants offered such positions will receive additional documentation.
