About The Position

The University of Maryland Shore Regional Health (UM SRH), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Breast Surgeon to join the Clark Comprehensive Breast Center in Easton, Maryland. Requirements

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Surgery with a focus on breast surgery.
  • Current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland.
  • Current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification.
  • Appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS-affiliated acute care facility (if applicable).
  • Meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
  • Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered breast care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary program.
  • Participate in the Clark Comprehensive Breast Center's mission to reduce breast cancer risk through early detection, education, and lifestyle-focused prevention.
  • Collaborate closely with medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, genetics, and supportive care services.
  • Emphasize patient education, prevention, survivorship, and continuity of care.
  • Participate in community outreach and educational initiatives.
