About The Position
We are seeking a Breast Radiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Detroit, MI. This role is based in an outpatient setting and focuses on clinical coverage only. The coverage period is from August 3, 2026, and is ongoing. The typical shift schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. This position is to supplement existing coverage.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Michigan (MI) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Fellowship required
Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI.
- Execute image-guided procedures including biopsies, localizations, and aspirations.
- Maintain proficiency in BI-RADS and MQSA requirements.
- Manage same-day diagnostic workups and communicate results directly with patients.
- Collaborate with technologists, nurses, surgeons, and oncology teams in a fast-paced environment.
