About The Position

The UPMC/University of Pittsburgh Department of Radiology is expanding its breast imaging service and is seeking academic breast imagers. Faculty will provide comprehensive care at nine locations, including Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC, the Hillman Cancer Center, and UPMC community hospitals and imaging centers. Services offered include digital mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis, sonography, image-guided breast biopsy, needle and radioactive seed localization, ductography, and breast MRI. The department offers teaching and research opportunities. The successful candidate will contribute to divisional research, support the academic mission through education of residents, fellows, and medical students, and participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• MD degree or equivalent
• Board-eligible or certified in radiology
• Eligible for unrestricted licensure in Pennsylvania
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited diagnostic radiology residency
• Fellowship training in women's imaging, breast imaging, or equivalent experience
• An Assistant Professor requires 1-5 years of experience.
• Associate Professor requires 6-10 years of experience.
• Professor requires 10 years of experience.
