About The Position

RP Florida is seeking a Breast Radiologist to join its established radiology group in the Tampa Bay area. This is an onsite, Monday–Friday position with hybrid scheduling options; weekends and call are not required. The role involves 100% breast imaging reads and breast procedures. Radiologists may choose to take general diagnostic shifts and emergency call to maintain proficiency in general diagnostic skills. The position also offers an opportunity to mentor and educate residents through the residency program at HCA Florida Trinity. RP Florida serves eight HCA hospitals and multiple freestanding emergency rooms across the Greater Tampa region and Florida’s Gulf Coast. The group provides radiology subspecialty expertise through onsite and remote reading services and procedural work. Its team-based model uses shared resources, technology, and support at local and national levels.

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree.
Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology.
Board eligibility or board certification by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
MQSA qualification.
Florida medical license or ability to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

Completion of one year of post-residency fellowship training in Breast Imaging.

Responsibilities

Optionally participate in general diagnostic shifts and emergency call.
Mentor and educate future radiologists through the residency program at HCA Florida Trinity.
