About The Position

This role is responsible for setting up and breaking down the buffet, greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, clearing tables, and processing payments. The ideal candidate will have a professional attitude, anticipate guest needs, and maintain a caring and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

Set up the buffet daily, ensuring that all items are well-stocked, and break down the buffet after service
Greet the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness
Serve water and/or coffee upon greeting the table
Serve guests with food and drink orders while they are in the dining area and replenish as necessary
Clear tables during breakfast using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware, and silverware in a timely manner
Observes guests to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed
Control quality and consistency of all food served
Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
Total checks and accepts payment or refer guests to cashier
