About The Position

The Breakfast Host is responsible for coordinating the breakfast service and maintaining a cleaned and stocked breakfast area. This person must deliver excellent customer service while interacting with guests. Our hotel functions seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees and guests.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Must be available weekends and holidays.
  • Must be available Mornings, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service each day.
  • Ability to coordinate breakfast service.
  • Ability to maintain a cleaned and stocked breakfast area.
  • Ability to interact with guests pleasantly during shift.
  • Ability to put away breakfast at the end of the shift.
  • Ability to clean kitchen and breakfast area at the end of the shift.
  • Ability to perform routine daily tasks as set forth in the daily checklist.
  • Knowledge on facilities and amenities associated with the hotel.
  • Ability to communicate with guest and employees both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to assist all guests as necessary to ensure a positive experience.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and thank all guests for their patronage.
  • Set up breakfast stations.
  • Maintain appropriate quantity of food and beverage at hot, cold and beverage stations during breakfast hours.
  • Keep area clean and stocked.
  • Interact with guests pleasantly during shift.
  • Put away breakfast at the end of the shift.
  • Cleaning of kitchen and breakfast area at the end of the shift.
  • Perform routine daily tasks as set forth in the daily checklist.
  • Knowledge on facilities and amenities associated with the hotel.
  • Communicate with guest and employees both verbally and in writing.
  • Assist all guests as necessary to ensure a positive experience.
  • Any other tasks as requested by direct supervisor or other hotel management staff.
