About The Position
We are seeking a breakfast cook to join our dynamic team. As a breakfast cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious breakfast dishes to perfection, ensuring consistent quality and taste.
Requirements
- Experience/Ability to do the following:
- Forward bend, squat, forward reach to retrieve items from cabinets
- Repetitive forward bend of head/neck
- Lifting through height of 6" to 5'(squatting or forward bend) from dolly to refrigerator shelves
- Carrying boxes/bags of food a distance of 10 feet
- Shoulder motions below 90 degrees shoulder flexion
- Gross grasp to hold tongs, spoons
- Repetitive elbow motion in mid-range for chopping
- Repetitive wrist motions through partial range for stirring and chopping
- Lift boxes of 50 lbs.
- Lift pots of food: 25-50 lbs.
- Stir food: 5-10 lbs. of force may be needed to stir thicker consistency foods such as mashed potatoes.
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Responsibilities
- Early morning start of 4am
- Assembling café items including pastries, sandwiches and other items as required
- Assisting on line with breakfast service.
- Follow recipes and prep lists in order to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation.
- Maintain a good working relationship with other employees, providing instruction and encouragement as needed.
- Maintain a clean, neat and organized work area in accordance with AHS foodsafe regulations.
