About The Position

The Breakfast Cook position at the East Peoria Embassy Suites involves preparing and cooking breakfast items according to standardized recipes. Key responsibilities include supporting breakfast setup, line preparation, and kitchen opening/closing duties. The role requires adherence to food safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and operating and maintaining kitchen equipment and dishwashing stations. Additionally, the cook will ensure food is prepped for the following day and assist with inventory rotation. Requirements

• Prior culinary or food service experience
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand, bend, and move throughout your shift
• A positive, team-first attitude with flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• 6 months preferred culinary or food service experience
• Culinary certification is a plus
