About The Position

This role involves setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the breakfast buffet. The Breakfast Buffet Runner is responsible for ensuring the buffet is well-stocked, presentable, and clean throughout service. This position requires close collaboration with the kitchen and dining room teams, adherence to food safety standards, and providing friendly service to guests. The schedule is generally Monday-Saturday from 6:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and Sundays from 6:30 AM to approximately 1:00 PM, with the possibility of full or part-time employment.

Requirements

Reliable and punctual
Comfortable standing, walking, lifting, and staying active throughout the shift
Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
Good attention to cleanliness and presentation
Team-oriented and willing to jump in wherever needed

Nice To Haves

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is helpful, but not required

Responsibilities

Set up the breakfast buffet before service
Keep the buffet stocked and presentable throughout the morning
Monitor food levels and communicate with the kitchen when items need to be replenished
Keep the buffet area clean and organized
Replace serving dishes, utensils, and other buffet items as needed
Assist with general dining room and buffet-area cleanliness
Break down and clean up the buffet at the end of service
Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Provide friendly, helpful service to guests when needed
Work closely with the kitchen and dining room teams
