About The Position

The Breakfast Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring a positive and welcoming start to our guests' day by providing exceptional service during breakfast hours. This part-time position, scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays from 6am to 11am, focuses on maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked breakfast area while assisting guests with their needs. The role requires attentiveness to detail, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Breakfast Attendant contributes directly to guest satisfaction by delivering prompt service and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. Ultimately, this position supports the overall hospitality experience and helps foster repeat business through excellent customer interactions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work early morning hours on weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 6am-11am).
• Basic food handling knowledge and adherence to hygiene standards.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as lifting and carrying.
• Effective communication and customer service are essential for engaging with guests and ensuring their breakfast experience is pleasant and efficient.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills are used daily to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the breakfast area, which directly impacts guest satisfaction.
• Physical stamina and the ability to multitask enable the Breakfast Attendant to manage restocking and cleaning duties while attending to guest needs promptly.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role.

Responsibilities

• Set up and replenish breakfast buffet items, ensuring all food and beverage stations are fully stocked and visually appealing.
• Greet guests warmly and assist with any breakfast-related inquiries or special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and dining utensils.
• Monitor food quality and safety standards, promptly addressing any issues or spills to ensure a safe environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen and housekeeping staff to ensure smooth breakfast service and timely restocking.
