Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to interact professionally with guests and address their needs.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to prepare and handle food safely
- Willingness to work collaboratively with coworkers.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks or guest demands.
Responsibilities
- The Hotel Breakfast Attendant is responsible for ensuring guests have a positive dining experience during breakfast service
- Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet or menu items.
- Ensure food is fresh, properly displayed, and replenished as needed.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Greet guests warmly and address their questions or needs.
- Assist with special requests (e.g., dietary restrictions).Cleaning and Maintenance
- Keep the breakfast area clean and organized, including tables, counters, and buffet stations.
- Restock supplies like plates, utensils, and condiments.
- Monitor inventory and report low supplies to management.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
- Follow hotel policies and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
