About The Position

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for setting up and breaking down the morning breakfast buffet, ensuring all items are well-stocked and the buffet area is maintained for safety and appearance. This role involves providing personalized service to guests, preparing food items, stocking machines, arranging food, clearing tables, and maintaining the cleanliness of the breakfast area and associated kitchen spaces.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Ability to provide personalized service to all guests.
  • Ability to set up and maintain the breakfast bar as required by brand standards.
  • Ability to take inventory of food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Ability to prepare foods such as fresh fruit, coffee, and juices.
  • Ability to stock coffee, juice, and milk machines or dispensers.
  • Ability to set up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups, and other paper products.
  • Ability to arrange cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.
  • Ability to clear and clean tables as they are vacated.
  • Ability to remove trash to the dumpster.
  • Ability to prepare and set up hot food items.
  • Ability to follow menu requirements as provided by the brand.
  • Ability to wipe up spills.
  • Ability to restock items consistently.
  • Ability to wash serving equipment and return to storage.
  • Ability to return reusable food supplies to storage.
  • Ability to keep the breakfast area clean, including counters, cabinets, and floors.
  • Ability to listen and respond to guests' requests and complaints.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and breaking down the morning breakfast buffet.
  • Ensuring buffet items such as fruits, breads, cereals, and bakery items remain well-stocked.
  • Maintaining the safety and appearance of the buffet area.
  • Cleaning the area in preparation for the next day.
  • Providing personalized service to all guests.
  • Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar as required by brand standards.
  • Taking inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day.
  • Ordering or purchasing food supplies, if required.
  • Preparing foods such as fresh fruit, coffee, and juices from concentrates.
  • Stocking coffee, juice, and milk machines or dispensers.
  • Setting up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups, and other paper products.
  • Setting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.
  • Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated.
  • Removing trash to the dumpster.
  • Preparing and setting up hot food items.
  • Following menu requirements as provided by the brand.
  • Wiping up spills.
  • Restocking items consistently throughout the breakfast hours and for the next day.
  • Washing serving equipment and returning to storage.
  • Returning reusable food supplies to storage.
  • Keeping breakfast area clean including removing trash, cleaning breakfast area and kitchen counters, cabinets and floors.
  • Listening and responding to guests' requests and complaints.
