Hotel Equities is seeking a Breakfast Attendant for the Hampton by Hilton St. Thomas, V.I. The primary role is to greet and seat guests, ensuring a quality dining experience through warm, knowledgeable service. This includes assisting in food preparation, cooking, and presentation according to standard recipes, maintaining a clean service area, and adhering to all health codes. The attendant must ensure all food selections are available daily, monitor deliveries, and maintain portion controls. A safe working environment must be provided by ensuring compliance with safety programs, Health Department requirements, and job safety analysis. Sanitation laws and safety standards must be enforced, and food and beverage outlets inspected for proper storage, cleanliness, and inventory rotation. The role also involves assisting with inventories and being an enthusiastic, helpful, and positive team member, demonstrating professionalism, maturity, and open communication with co-workers and other departments. The attendant should be self-motivated, respond positively to new ideas, accept feedback, and assist other departments in emergencies as directed by a supervisor.
