About The Position

Know and understand the breader/breading machines operation. Know and understand the proper procedure for dumping bags of flour / breading. Be able to lift and dump bags of flour / breading (up to 50 pounds each). Monitor the breading process to ensure product is properly coated. Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies. Physically inspect products for both natural occurring and processing defects. Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or plant management official.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift and dump bags of flour/breading (up to 50 pounds each).
  • Ability to work at temperatures of 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Ability to stand/walk 100% of the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a constant basis.
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment.
  • Knowledge of plant GMP policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Natural occurring defect identification (e.g., bruises, blood spots).
  • Processing defect identification (e.g., foreign material, out of spec product).
  • Identification of abnormal situations such as product tampering, willful product adulteration, unauthorized employees in restricted areas, or equipment malfunction that may put product wholesomeness at stake.
