About The Position

Vestcom, a standalone business unit of Avery Dennison, is seeking a Machine Operator who thrives on performance and precision. As a Technical Pilot of label machines, you will ensure high-quality production to meet critical retail deadlines. You will own your equipment, troubleshoot issues, and drive results. This role requires a mechanically inclined individual who takes pride in owning their technology.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
1–2 years of related experience in a production environment.
Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift.
Strong color vision and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

Set up and run label machines efficiently while maintaining a "zero-defect" mindset.
Minimize waste and maintain an accurate log of raw materials using our ERP system.
Responsible for the upkeep of all dies and reporting technical issues to the Facility Manager.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all SOPs and safety protocols (PPE).
