About The Position
Nugget Markets is looking for dedicated bakery enthusiasts to join our passionate and talented bakery team! This is a full time position with shifts that start at 4:00am. Individual associate hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location, and length of employment. Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Possess basic math skills
- Physical ability to mix hundreds of pounds of dough and form into loaves
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Intermediate product knowledge including knowledge of temperature, chemical reactions, and bakery products
- Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules and signage
- A passion for putting out a great product consistently
- A positive attitude is essential!
Responsibilities
- Mixing and preparing hundreds of hand-formed artisan breads each shift.
- Prepping produce and deli products for bakery items.
- Mixing and scaling ingredients.
- Benching dough.
- Loading carts and racks with product.
- Lifting and stacking flour.
- Operating all kitchen machinery including ovens, proofers, mixers and dough dividers.
- Maintaining a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment.
- Assisting the bakery clerks.
- Providing world-class service to our guests as needed.
