About The Position

This role involves performing line assembler duties with a focus on brazing, adhering to safety protocols, and operating tools and equipment to meet production requirements. The position requires successful completion of specific training, including copper to copper, copper to brass, and copper to steel brazing, as well as understanding the five stages of flux. You will also be responsible for reading and working from various technical documents, using measuring devices for quality control, maintaining records, and performing daily preventative maintenance on braze equipment.

Requirements

  • The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE
  • The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time
  • The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform Line Assembler duties as assigned and as needed to effectuate the completion of brazing and brazing duties at assigned work areas
  • Demonstrate the ability to adhere to and remain in compliance with all safety rules and PPE requirements
  • Successfully complete classroom and DOJO training (copper to copper brazing, copper to brass brazing, copper to steel brazing and know the five stages of flux)
  • Read, understand, and work from blueprints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, applicable OMS documents, and other written, electronic, or verbal instruction
  • Work with materials to complete assigned tasks to meet production requirements
  • Operate tools and equipment to assemble, test, handle, manipulate, and move components, assemblies, and final product
  • Use measuring and testing devices as well as visual inspection to ensure the quality products and conformity to all prints, work instructions, and quality standards
  • Maintain required records including but not limited to quality checklists, input into specified electronic systems and reporting of all line issues into the appropriate data collection systems
  • Successful completion of required skills training (e.g. crane and tugger operation, fall protection, etc.)
  • Preventative Maintenance daily on all braze equipment
