Requirements

  • 0-4 years brazing experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have a stable work history
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Must Pass Work Keys (Reading for Information, Locating Information, Applied Math, and Observation), Drug Screen, Background Check, Physical and Physical Ability Test
  • Visual acuity: 70 degree field of vision
  • Must be able to discern depth and must pass color vision test.
  • Must have at least 20/40 vision in each eye for far & near, with or without corrective lens.

Responsibilities

  • Required to safely perform work to strict quality standards.
  • Operate braze torches and brazing rods which they use to braze copper and/or aluminum as part of the process for creating commercial air conditional coils.
  • Brazing materials, including headers and U-Bends, onto coils.
  • Operating material handling equipment such as manual cranes, hoists, pallet jacks, conveyors, and carts to transport materials to proper location.
  • Scanning coil ID at computer terminal to check instructions and track productivity.
  • Interpreting tickets, method sheets, and visual order tracking system to determine work steps and instructions.
  • Using power, pneumatic and hand tools to prepare coils, tubes and equipment.
  • Performing quality checks and tests, including visual inspection of pinholes and incomplete seals as well as taking measurements.
  • Cleaning work area.
