About The Position

The role involves building Rooftop HVAC units by assembling various complex component parts. You will perform a variety of assembly operations, moving within the area to meet production needs, performing tasks including buildup, electrical assembly, interior/exterior component fit-up, and final assembly. A computer will be used for assembly drawings. Quality checks are performed before the unit leaves the assembly station, and 5S procedures are followed. You will also take part in the training process for new team members, provide input regarding their performance, and participate with other team members on safety, process, and quality improvement teams. Workflow coordination with team members, supervisors, and support areas is essential to meet production requirements. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time.
The ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
