About The Position

The Braze Operator will perform a variety of assembly, fabrication, production and operator tasks. Will ensure proper set up machines, programming, tooling, and parts are machined in accordance with manufacturing standards and customer specifications. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Basic mathematical skills including geometry and math conversions.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • General cutting tool technical applications knowledge.

Nice To Haves

  • Vocational school or apprenticeship is ideal but not required.
  • Experience with soldering or welding is ideal but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, measure, or test completed metal workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using and measuring testing devices.
  • Ensure product accuracy and uniformity throughout the manufacturing process creating consistent parts.
  • Provide general preventative maintenance to all machines.
  • Read blueprints and appropriately adhere to multiple components.
  • Set up, operate, or tend to machines that join or bond components to fabricate metal products or assemblies.
  • Correct problems by adjusting controls or by stopping machines.
  • Attach tip to body of 2 metals
  • Make sure the received pocket is the appropriate size and shape for the supplied tip to meet the drawing requirements.
  • Ensure not to overheat substrate and cause damage.
  • Verify secure bonds before parts leave the department.
  • Other duties as assigned.
