About The Position

Help people create homes they love. Join the Urban Barn team as a Brand Stylist at our Home Office located in Burnaby, BC. With over 50 retail stores across the country, Urban Barn is a national retail chain offering high-quality furniture and home décor. We’re passionate about making our customers and our employees feel right at home. This is an in-office position Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday's. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Brand Stylist plays an important role in bringing the Urban Barn brand to life through inspiring and visually engaging spaces and content. This role is responsible for supporting and evolving the brand’s visual identity across photoshoots, marketing campaigns, store environments, events, and digital channels.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in styling, visual merchandising, creative production, interior styling, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Nice To Haves

  • exposure to or interest in AI rendering tools is considered an advantage
  • Bilingual language skills (French & English) are an asset

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and uphold a consistent brand visual identity across ecommerce, marketing, social media, and retail channels
  • Create inspiring product pairings and styled environments for campaigns, ecommerce photography, and digital content
  • Support planning and execution of photoshoots and video productions, including pre-production coordination
  • Develop production materials including shot lists, styling plans, room layouts, inventory requests, and production documents
  • Provide on-set styling for furniture, décor, and accessories to create visually compelling lifestyle environments
  • Collaborate with photographers, Art Directors, Marketing, and Creative teams during content production
  • Conduct trend research in interior design, home décor, lifestyle, and retail styling to inform creative direction
  • Coordinate product, props, and inventory logistics for shoots, campaigns, store events, and brand activations
