About The Position

Workweek is seeking a creative, internet-native Brand Manager in Austin to manage its public presence. This role reports to the VP of Marketing and is responsible for the brand's appearance across the website, email campaigns, social channels, and partner events. The ideal candidate understands B2B marketing but prefers to apply consumer marketing tactics like storytelling, community building, and viral distribution to make B2B content engaging and memorable. The role involves using AI tools for content creation and ensuring all assets meet high standards of quality and brand alignment. While remote work is an option, availability during the Central Time Zone workday is required. All work must be conducted in English.

Requirements

  • 4+ Years in Marketing
  • B2B Knowledge + Consumer Playbook: Understanding of B2B buyer behavior combined with the ability to apply consumer marketing tactics, including community, culture, design, and narrative.
  • Social-First Mindset: Proficiency and active engagement on platforms like X and LinkedIn, with an understanding of how modern brands grow through individual creators.
  • Strong Taste Level: Ability to use AI tools effectively for speed while heavily editing to ensure high-quality, non-generic output.
  • Event Marketing Experience: Proven success in running campaign rollouts that drive event sign-ups and attendance.
  • Located in (or willing to relocate to) Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of workweek.com, ensuring clear positioning, creator updates, and lead paths to convert site visitors into inbound advertiser leads.
  • Plan and write product launches for new features on the Workweek Partner Platform.
  • Create short-form videos, case studies, and social proof points from advertiser successes for the sales team.
  • Run the marketing campaign for the annual Upfronts, including writing emails, generating social media buzz, and attracting targeted brand partners.
  • Create marketing for virtual and community events aimed at driving advertiser community and retention.
  • Write and launch regular email campaigns to advertising partners to promote creators, share insights, and secure new advertising deals.
  • Own daily posts, copy, and visual style for Workweek's main social media accounts, using consumer social tactics to build an audience for a B2B media brand.
  • Support company leaders in shaping their social media posts and aligning team accounts with broader brand initiatives.
