About The Position

Balor Games is seeking a hands-on Brand Manager to drive awareness and success of upcoming releases. You will own and execute the go-to-market campaigns and champion our games with a passion for indie creators and their communities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in game marketing or publishing, with a track record of supporting commercially successful PC and console launches.
  • Deep understanding of the indie game ecosystem and a proven track record working with a variety of marketing budgets.
  • Proven ability to translate strategic goals into actionable creative briefs to align internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing external partners.
  • Solid understanding of success metrics and audience behaviors across PR, social media, influencer, and digital storefront channels.
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced, lean environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own Go-to-Market Plan: Create the overall strategy and campaign schedule to align with goals for the title KPIs
  • Creative Briefing: Write and refine detailed creative briefs for art, graphic design, and video production to ensure all assets align with the game’s brand identity.
  • Platform & Partner Outreach: Secure platform support (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo) and marketing partnership opportunities for assigned titles.
  • Developer and Internal Team Alignment: Ensure transparency and partnership with game developers and key internal stakeholders like Production by proactively sharing marketing budgets, strategic plans, and performance updates, and facilitating required sign-offs.
  • Vendor Onboarding & Coordination: Facilitate the onboarding and coordination to ensure vendors have the necessary assets and brand guidelines to support the go-to-market plan.
  • Asset Management: Coordinate the development of high-impact creative assets with external contributors and agencies.
  • Go-To-Market Execution: Drive marketing beats through the execution of key tasks like showcase submissions, first party platform opportunities, including pre-release hype, announcements, and post-launch engagement.
  • Vendor Coordination: Help manage the day-to-day workflow of vendors supporting PR, social media, and storefronts.
