About The Position

Admiral Beverage is seeking a Brand Manager for their El Paso, Texas location. This role has overall responsibility for all brand development for defined suppliers. The Brand Manager will strategize with suppliers to create business plans within the markets served, prepare and present periodic business reviews to senior management, sales meetings, and customers, and ensure correct product pricing at retail customers. The position also oversees banner room employees to ensure all orders are met and delivered on time, demonstrates marketing through leadership and market execution, and reviews and evaluates all product proposals from new or existing suppliers. The Brand Manager manages all products reporting as directed by senior staff, handles media responsibilities such as buying, merchandising, and posting, and manages all product suppliers in relation to negotiation, communication, and execution by sales teams. The role implements the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) fully according to plan throughout the year, evaluates the performance of existing system brands, and participates in the decision to eliminate and add brands within the portfolio. Additionally, the Brand Manager develops and implements product portfolio promotions across the company, including projected costs, return on investment, and co-op arrangements. They conduct research as required to make quality decisions for brands and the company, and lead the creation and execution of all coupon activity. Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts and apply concepts such as fractions and percentages.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Proficient in current word processing and spreadsheet software applications.
