About The Position

We’re looking for someone who thrives in retail environments, enjoys hosting pop-ups and events, and knows how to bring energy and excitement to every interaction. As a Brand Development Representative, you are the face of The Clear across Southern New Jersey, bringing our brand to life in dispensaries, at events, and through direct engagement with budtenders and customers. This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on executing in-store activations, delivering product education, and creating memorable brand experiences that drive awareness and repeat sales. If you love being on the road, connecting with people, and representing a brand you’re passionate about—this is the role for you. This position requires regular travel throughout Southern New Jersey. You must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Marketing, or related field)
  • 1–2+ years experience in cannabis, field marketing, events, or retail
  • Experience hosting events, promotions, or in-store activations
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups and leading trainings
  • Outgoing, personable, and dependable—you enjoy being in the field
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends for events as needed
  • Meet requirements to obtain NJ Cannabis Employee ID
  • Proficiency with: Microsoft Office Suite (required)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Represent The Clear at retail locations, pop-ups, and events across Southern New Jersey
  • Deliver engaging budtender trainings and product education
  • Set up, maintain, and refresh in-store merchandising and brand displays
  • Execute in-store demos, pop-ups, and promotional activations
  • Support licensed partners with sampling programs (in compliance with NJ regulations)
  • Build strong relationships with budtenders, store teams, and managers
  • Increase participation in budtender contests, events, and brand initiatives
  • Partner with sales and licensee teams to support retail sell-through
  • Identify new store opportunities through drop-ins and relationship building
  • Accurately track all activities and interactions in CRM systems

Benefits

  • $50,000 base salary + incentive pay + mileage reimbursement
