Brand Designer

Ambrook•New York, NY
•$125,000 - $195,000

About The Position

Ambrook is hiring a Brand Designer to help evolve its brand and create work across digital and physical formats. Working alongside the Creative Director, the designer will share responsibility for the direction of the brand, turn ideas into finished work, and help build the tools and systems that enable the broader team to produce brand-aligned work. The position spans website, campaigns, lifecycle communications, editorial, merchandise, event experiences, microsites, and brand expressions within the product, as well as new formats and ideas without established precedents. The Brand Designer will shape narratives and ensure copy, imagery, and composition support the story; make concepts tangible through prototypes and samples; and create work directly or through contractors, teammates, and AI-enabled tools. They will develop reusable templates, skills, and evaluations to reduce repetitive work, direct external creative partners, maintain design libraries, Sanity components, and brand documentation, and work with the Creative Director to advance the brand. The role reports to Ali Aas, Creative Director, within the Brand team, and collaborates closely with Marketing, Product Design, and other cross-functional teams. Ambrook is a Series B startup rebuilding financial infrastructure for American family-run businesses and independent operators. The company describes its mission as helping these businesses become more profitable and resilient through modern tools for accounting, banking, and spending.
