Brand Designer

GigaSan Francisco, CA
Onsite

About The Position

Giga, a voice AI startup that has recently raised a $61M Series A, is working with Fortune 500 customers to deploy the next generation of customer experience through real-time AI agents. Industry leaders like DoorDash trust Giga with their complex support and operations workflows. The company is at an inflection point with ambitions to become the go-to AI platform for all enterprise automation. This role is for a Brand Designer to own the visual system for an engineer-first AI company and to ship the creative behind its most visible moments. This is an in-house role focused on building the system and shipping launches, not an agency-style identity engagement.

Requirements

  • Experience building brand systems that scale beyond the designer's direct involvement, allowing non-designers to produce on-brand work independently.
  • Portfolio demonstrating range in editorial, industrial, and technical design.
  • Understanding that design is inherently tied to business objectives, not solely user delight.
  • Ability to ship launch creative on a timely cadence, moving from concept to delivery in days.
  • Proficiency in moving fluidly between Figma and AI tools, with informed opinions on their respective uses.
  • Ability to identify and articulate admiration for three non-tech brands and the reasons why.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as an in-house brand designer at engineering-led companies (e.g., Vercel, Linear, Stripe, Figma).
  • Background as an editorial or print designer who transitioned into tech.
  • Experience as a standout agency creative looking to move in-house.
  • Designers from crypto/web3 or other highly online, fast-moving ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop visual work for product launches, conferences, industry events, and recurring web and social campaigns using Figma and AI image/video tools, including light motion.
  • Ensure quality control for launch creative, producing polished hero assets and a system of derivatives for social, web, sales decks, and partner-facing materials.
  • Build and maintain a durable brand system and guidelines that enable non-designers to create on-brand work, including components, type scale, color tokens, illustration patterns, and photography direction.
  • Provide cross-functional design support for sales decks, recruiting collateral, executive keynote visuals, and internal launches.

Benefits

  • Catered lunch daily
  • Dinner stipend
  • $150/month wellness benefit (gym, fitness classes, mental health)
  • Medical coverage
  • Dental coverage
  • Vision coverage
  • 401(k) plan
  • 12 weeks maternal paid parental leave
  • 6 weeks paternal paid parental leave
  • Commuter benefits
