About The Position

Jordan’s is looking for a Copywriter to carry our voice across the many places customers meet the brand. Working from creative direction established by the Brand Copywriter, you’ll extend approved campaign ideas into email, digital, in-store collateral, and long-form marketing materials. You’ll also independently write the product copy that brings our e-commerce product pages and retail hang tags to life. Your writing should meet customers in their own language—clear enough to understand and specific enough to recognize as unmistakably Jordan’s. This position is located out of our Dedham, MA location, working Monday–Friday on a hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.

Requirements

  • 4 or more years of copywriting experience, either in-house or at an agency.
  • Portfolio demonstrates range, with the same brand voice carried across campaign, channel, and product-level work. Campaign examples should show an idea extending across more than one point in the customer journey.
  • Writes in language customers recognize as their own—plain, specific, and easy to understand.
  • Experience writing product copy from specifications, samples, or direct observation.
  • Hands-on writing experience across direct mail, print, email, digital, and in-store collateral.
  • Can work from another writer’s or creative lead’s direction and extend it faithfully.
  • Has a thoughtful point of view on where AI belongs in a copy workflow—and where it does not—supported by hands-on use of the tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy while working under recurring deadlines.
  • Retail experience across both brick-and-mortar and online environments.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can read and communicate effectively in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Willing to learn, grow, adapt, and remain artistically flexible.
  • Above nothing, down for anything, a true team player, and an overall good person.
  • Comfortable advocating for what you believe in while also being willing to admit when you do not know something.

Responsibilities

  • Extend approved campaign concepts into channel-level copy across email, digital, and in-store collateral, keeping the voice and intent consistent as the work moves between formats and constraints.

  • Deliver product copy on the weekly product photography and asset cycle, meeting publication deadlines as new merchandise moves through the studio.
  • Write clear informational and service copy that supports the customer journey from digital to store and back again, ensuring programs, terms, and services are easy to understand wherever customers encounter them.
  • Serve as an accuracy check on marketing copy, reviewing for factual correctness, product truth, grammar, and compliance with Jordan’s copy and legal standards before publication.
  • Adapt your writing style across a wide range of contexts, from a campaign email to a fifteen-word hang tag, without losing the brand’s voice.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing, E-Commerce, and Merchandising to source product information and confirm promotional details.
  • Maintain and apply copy standards, product terminology, and naming conventions across channels.
  • Perform other functions or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
