About The Position

Levelpath is seeking a Brand Copywriter & Editor to join their team. This role is for a writer first, who can simplify complex information and tailor it for different audiences. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, passionate about the craft of writing, enjoys cross-team collaboration, and can see their words used across various platforms. Levelpath is an autonomous procurement platform for global enterprises, founded in 2022 with the mission to make procurement delightful. They offer an intuitive platform that provides clarity, control, and intelligence for procurement, finance, legal, and IT stakeholders, leveraging AI to deliver helpful answers and increase efficiency. The company is looking for a writer who can reach CPOs, CFOs, and procurement leaders at large companies. This writer-editor hybrid role involves drafting launch stories, editing founder's voice memos, polishing landing pages, and ensuring newsletters are read. The position requires moving fluidly between big-picture storytelling, developmental editing, and line-level polishing, acting as the final reviewer for all published content and setting the standard for quality. The role reports to the Head of Marketing and involves close collaboration with founders, marketers, product, and go-to-market teams.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional writing and editing experience.
  • A portfolio of published work demonstrating exceptional command of language and range across different formats (e.g., executive one-pagers, booth headlines, 2,000-word narratives).
  • Strong editorial judgment, knowing when to push drafts and when to preserve the author's voice, with a clear perspective on grammar and style.
  • Ability to explain complex topics simply, with an interest in B2B software, procurement, finance, or other technical domains.
  • Demonstrated success in building an audience through writing (e.g., newsletters, LinkedIn/X presence, blogs, widely shared bylines).
  • A proven eye for narrative in complex, ambiguous, or highly technical material.
  • Fluent use of AI tools and the ability to articulate their role in a workflow.
  • Ownership mentality, taking projects from idea to execution independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in enterprise SaaS, fintech, or procurement.
  • Familiarity with SEO or answer engine optimization and content performance measurement.
  • Basic design sensibility or video editing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Write across every format: web copy, blog posts, product launches, campaign copy, emails, video scripts, event materials, and sales collateral, in both long and short forms.
  • Edit all published content, maintaining high standards for clarity, accuracy, and voice. This includes shaping arguments, restructuring drafts, and line editing sentences to ensure all content reflects Levelpath's brand voice.
  • Own and evolve the brand voice, maintaining the style guide and improving the writing of others (founders, marketers, sales) through edits.
  • Transform expert thinking into publishable work by helping founders and customers organize, sharpen, and polish their ideas for target audiences (CPOs, CFOs, procurement leaders at large enterprises).
  • Identify and extract clear, human narratives from dense, technical, and ambiguous material within the procurement domain.
  • Create content that readers share, subscribe to, and return for, thereby growing Levelpath's audience.
  • Produce great copy quickly in response to timely opportunities.
