The company is a remote-first, community-driven team focused on elevating customers, clients, and the industry. They are seeking a Brand Coordinator, a recent university graduate passionate about brand marketing and social media, to own the day-to-day brand presence, manage social channels, assist with advertising placement and tracking, and draft communications. This role involves close collaboration with the Manager, Brand and Demand, and other departments to ensure brand consistency, visibility, and credibility.

Requirements

  • Recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience managing social media for a business — through a co-op, internship, or similar — including content planning and performance reporting.
  • Comfortable writing for external audiences, or eager to learn: press releases, industry publications, or other public-facing communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive, ownership mindset — ready to run with a channel or campaign with minimal hand-holding, and comfortable asking for help when needed.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
  • Genuinely excited about brand building, social media, and the idea of representing a company externally.
  • A good sense of humour and a knack for bringing that to social media — you know how to make content feel fresh, fun, and human.

Nice To Haves

  • A completed co-op or internship in marketing, brand, or communications.
  • Previous Hubspot experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the social media content calendar end-to-end: planning, creating, scheduling, and publishing on-brand content across channels.
  • Develop and pitch campaign concepts that build brand awareness and support demand generation goals.
  • Manage community engagement — monitor channels, respond to comments and messages, and flag opportunities or issues to the team.
  • Own performance reporting: track key metrics, identify trends, and turn them into recommendations for what's next.
  • Act as a brand voice guardian, making sure everything published is consistent with commonsku's tone and values.
  • Assist in planning and placing paid advertising with PPAI and other industry publications, and help track budgets and report on performance.
  • Draft press releases and other industry communications, working with the Manager, Brand and Demand on messaging and approval before distribution.
  • Help build and maintain relationships with industry media contacts and publications.
  • Support commonsku's presence at industry events and in industry-facing content.
  • Assist in the ordering and production of branded merchandise.
  • Oversee distribution lists and quality control for merch programs.
  • Assist in event merchandising.
  • Support the Manager, Brand and Demand and Marketing Campaign Manager in planning and prioritizing brand and demand campaigns.

  • Twice-yearly company wide summits
  • Company-wide closure between December 25th and January 1st
