About The Position

BODYBAR Pilates is one of the fastest-growing boutique Pilates franchise brands in the country, and we're looking for a Franchise Development Specialist who wants to be part of that growth. This is not a sit-back-and-wait sales job. You’ll be on the front lines of our franchise development process—responding quickly to new leads, starting conversations, asking smart questions, uncovering motivations, qualifying prospects, and creating momentum toward the next step. We’re looking for someone who is energetic, competitive, curious, persistent, highly coachable, and accountable. If you enjoy talking to people, aren't discouraged by rejection, take pride in hitting goals, and genuinely want to get better every day, this could be the opportunity for you.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in consultative sales, inside sales, sales development, recruiting, customer success, business development, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and move opportunities through a defined sales process.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple prospects or opportunities simultaneously.
  • Comfort using CRM systems and working toward measurable performance goals.
  • Strong organization, follow-through, judgment, and attention to detail.
  • A demonstrated willingness to receive coaching and continuously improve.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in franchise sales, franchising, boutique fitness, Pilates, wellness, hospitality, business consulting, or another high-touch sales environment.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Front End of the Sales Funnel: Respond quickly to new franchise leads through phone, text, and email. Build rapport and establish credibility from the first interaction. Conduct discovery conversations to understand a prospect's goals, motivations, experience, financial readiness, geography, and interest in business ownership. Ask thoughtful questions, actively listen, and determine whether a prospect is qualified. Schedule qualified candidates for consultations with the Director of Franchise Sales. Maintain consistent follow-up to keep qualified opportunities moving forward.
  • Represent the BODYBAR Opportunity: Develop a strong understanding of the BODYBAR brand, franchise model, investment, territory availability, and development process. Confidently educate prospects and answer questions about the franchise opportunity. Represent BODYBAR with energy, professionalism, enthusiasm, and credibility. Build trust without relying on high-pressure sales tactics.
  • Own Your Pipeline: Maintain accurate CRM records, activity, qualification information, and next steps. Manage multiple prospects and follow-ups without letting opportunities slip through the cracks. Monitor activity, appointments, conversion rates, and pipeline performance. Partner closely with the Director of Franchise Sales to provide a strong candidate experience and move qualified opportunities through the process.
  • Compete, Learn & Improve: Participate in sales coaching, pipeline reviews, and ongoing development. Understand your numbers and take ownership of your performance. Apply feedback quickly and continually look for ways to improve. Identify recurring objections, challenges, and opportunities to improve the sales process.
