About The Position

PRP Wine International, a leader in private, home wine sampling experiences in the US, is seeking outgoing and energetic individuals to join their event marketing team as part-time Brand Ambassadors. Since 1989, PRP Wine International has been introducing unique, exclusive wines from around the world to clients in the US through in-home wine samplings. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging in conversations, making money, and attending local events. The Event Marketer will attend pre-scheduled events to generate leads for the local office by interacting with potential customers at events, fairs, festivals, and community gatherings. Responsibilities include introducing PRP Wine to attendees, selling discounted packages for wine sampling experiences, and meeting or exceeding lead targets set by the Event Marketing Manager. Compensation is performance-based, with higher earnings for more sampling experiences sold. The role requires interacting with potential customers, providing product demonstrations with high energy and positive engagement to close sales, working independently while keeping the manager informed, maintaining a list of sales leads for database entry, and managing event setup and teardown, which may involve lifting up to 50 pounds. This is a flexible, part-time job that primarily occurs on weekends, allowing time for other endeavors during the week. PRP Wine seeks charismatic, outgoing, and driven Brand Ambassadors for the Tampa Bay area to work at fun and entertaining festivals and fairs. Candidates must have a car, be available to drive to various locations, and possess a cell phone for regular communication.

Responsibilities

Attend pre-scheduled events and generate leads for the local office through interaction with potential customers.
Work events, fairs, festivals, and community events to generate leads for sales staff.
Introduce PRP Wine to festival goers and sell discounted packages for wine sampling experiences.
Meet and exceed lead targets and goals.
Interact with potential customers and provide product demonstrations using high energy and positive engagement techniques to close sales.
Work well without close supervision but always keep your manager informed.
Enter and maintain a list of sales leads for entry into the database.
Manage event set up and tear down (ability to lift to 50 pounds).
Seek out targeted market at events by conversing with many people.
Attract people to the booth with positivity, smiles, and an upbeat attitude.
Promote home wine samplings by selling discounted packages.
Maintain high stamina and energy to promote leads during the entire event.
