About The Position

LeafGuard is hiring part-time Lead Generators to represent the company at major retail warehouse locations, local home shows, and community events. The role is the first point of contact for customers: work from a LeafGuard display, start friendly conversations with shoppers, provide a brief overview of the product, and schedule homeowners for complimentary in-home meetings with the design or sales team. Assignments may include roadshows, kiosk shifts near store entrances, and local home shows or community events. Roadshow and event shifts may require setting up and taking down display materials; kiosk shifts do not require setup or takedown. No home improvement experience is required, and training is provided. The role pays $20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience, plus commission on generated leads that result in a completed in-home demonstration. Hours are 20–35 per week, including weekends. Weekly pay applies to hourly wages, and commissions are paid every other week.

Requirements

• Outstanding communication, including responding promptly to calls and texts, confirming shifts in advance, and raising concerns early.
• Absolute dependability; shifts are committed to in advance, and no-shows are not acceptable.
• Outgoing, friendly personality and a genuine desire to meet new people.
• Comfort initiating conversations with strangers while respecting customers who decline.
• Professional appearance, attitude, and behavior while representing LeafGuard and its retail partner.
• Comfort working toward a daily goal of at least five qualified leads in a high-traffic location.
• Ability to learn the product quickly and explain it clearly and honestly.
• Comfort entering customer information on a tablet or smartphone.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned locations.
• Ability to stand, walk, and engage with customers for extended periods throughout a shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to set up, take down, transport, and store banner and podium display materials, including bending and reaching.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail, customer service, promotions, appointment setting, or lead generation experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Represent LeafGuard professionally at assigned retail warehouse locations, local home shows, and community events.
• Set up and take down the pop-up banner and podium display for roadshow shifts, and keep the display area clean, organized, and on brand.
• Staff kiosk displays at the fenceline; no additional setup is required for these shifts.
• Engage shoppers in a warm, respectful, conversational way without being pushy or aggressive.
• Give a short, accurate overview of LeafGuard products, features, and benefits, and answer basic questions.
• Identify interested homeowners and schedule complimentary in-home meetings with the sales team.
• Accurately collect and enter customer contact and appointment information on a tablet or other device.
• Generate a minimum of five qualified leads per day at a busy retail location.
• Arrive on time and fully prepared for each scheduled shift.
• Communicate proactively and promptly with the manager about scheduling, daily results, and issues at the location.
• Follow LeafGuard and host retailer policies, procedures, and conduct standards.
• Report daily lead activity and customer feedback to the manager.
• Attend required training sessions and team meetings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
