About The Position

Gentek is seeking a Seasonal Warehouseperson to join their team in Saskatoon. As a Branch Warehouseperson, you will be a client-facing individual responsible for customer service and product knowledge. You will greet customers, answer inquiries, and ensure they receive the products and information they need. This role is crucial in maintaining Gentek's reputation for product excellence and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Completed High School certificate.
• Able to read and write word and letter/number sequences.
• High compliance with standards, requirements, and processes.
• Emotional intelligence that facilitates respectful and courteous interactions with customers and other Gentek employees.
• Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and perform in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Post-secondary education.
• Experience in the building industry (e.g., hardware store, pro-desk).

Responsibilities

• Pick orders and prepare them in staging areas for delivery.
• Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks.
• Pick orders for immediate pick-up.
• Ensure accuracy of order against paperwork.
• Move incoming product to the designated location in the branch.
• Greet customers as they enter the distribution branch/warehouse, or as they call.
• Serve customers immediately or indicate that they will be helped as quickly as possible.
• Answer customer inquiries about the materials and services Gentek provides.
• Act as a business partner to customers, making it easy for them to do business with Gentek.
