Branch Sales Manager
About The Position
Scott Electric Company, a large independent electrical distributor with locations throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, and West Virginia, is seeking a Full-Time Branch Sales Manager for its Cleveland, OH branch. This role is for career-oriented individuals interested in serving a diverse customer base including electrical and mechanical contractors, industrial clients, government agencies, municipalities, and retail hardware and building supply markets. Scott Electric is committed to an inclusive workplace and values diverse perspectives. All employees must sign an Employment Agreement with a restrictive covenant (Non-Compete, Non-Disclosure).
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or meaningful sales experience – 5 years
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of electrical products
- Ability to build sales plans and handle time effectively
- Ability to communicate ideas and concepts to influence business partners
- Collaborate well in a team environment and develop account relationships
- Utilize analytics to evaluate market opportunities and impact business performance
- Provide innovative & creative solutions to business challenges
- Strong dedication to individual growth and leadership development
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent leadership and time management skills
- Must submit to a background check and drug testing
Responsibilities
- Handle sales and distribution within a given geography
- Responsibly sell company initiatives to partners, including promotions, new brands, inventory management, and pricing strategies
- Consult, advise, and engage with partners on category management and business analytics to help improve the performance of their business
- Develop innovative ways to improve business performance through data analysis, brand marketing, and purposeful planning
- Develop and utilize systems to track, measure, and analyze progress against key marketing initiatives and other business metrics
- Grow leadership capability through ongoing comprehensive training and high-impact experiences while managing a sales team
