About The Position

EMB Management is seeking a dynamic Branch President to lead its Washington operations and shape the company's growth. This executive leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can drive results, inspire teams, strengthen client partnerships, and foster a thriving culture. As part of Associa, the leading community management company, the Branch President will leverage national resources while leading a team focused on local communities in Washington.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in community association management, property management, hospitality, or another service-focused industry.
  • Demonstrated success leading a complex, multi-functional operation.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with budgeting, profitability, financial reporting, and performance metrics.
  • A proven ability to grow revenue, retain clients, and improve operational results.
  • Experience building, developing, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to navigate complex client and employee matters with sound judgment and professionalism.
  • A strategic mindset combined with the willingness to stay connected to day-to-day operations.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction for EMB Management.
  • Build, develop, and empower a high-performing leadership team.
  • Strengthen the employee and client experience.
  • Drive sustainable growth, client retention, and financial performance.
  • Expand EMB Management’s presence and impact throughout Washington.
  • Partner with regional and corporate leaders to influence broader organizational initiatives.
  • Serve as a visible ambassador for EMB Management and Associa.
  • Develop and execute the branch’s strategic and annual operating plans.
  • Establish clear goals and accountability across the organization.
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to financial results, growth, client retention, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
  • Lead the budgeting process and ensure the branch meets its financial commitments.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery, and profitability.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and support timely accounts receivable collection.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the branch leadership team.
  • Attract and retain high-performing talent who raise the bar.
  • Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure employees understand how their work contributes to the success of our clients, communities, and business.
  • Oversee performance management, succession planning, leadership development, and key talent decisions.
  • Partner closely with Human Resources as a strategic advisor in building organizational capability and a strong employee experience.
  • Build trusted relationships with boards of directors, homeowners, community leaders, vendors, and strategic partners.
  • Ensure teams consistently deliver responsive, high-quality service.
  • Oversee client retention and management agreement renewals.
  • Resolve complex client concerns with sound judgment, professionalism, and urgency.
  • Ensure the branch remains responsive to the changing needs of the communities we serve.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand the branch’s market presence.
  • Identify organic growth opportunities within existing client relationships.
  • Partner with sales and marketing leaders to pursue new business and strategic accounts.
  • Promote Associa’s full range of services and solutions.
  • Represent EMB Management and Associa as an active leader in Washington’s business and community association management markets.
  • Align people, processes, systems, and culture to deliver an integrated client experience.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, governing documents, contracts, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Use financial and operational data to identify trends, address root causes, and make informed decisions.
  • Sponsor and support strategic initiatives across Associa as needed.

Benefits

  • Vacation accrual begins after 90 days at 6.67 hrs per month with a cap at 160 hours, depending on years of service
