Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) AND 2-4 years previous related experience in cash handling and/or customer service setting, preferably in a banking environment OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of thinking critically and assessing complex situations.

Responsibilities

  • Assuming responsibility for ensuring and performing efficient, effective, and professional retail operations. This includes implementing policies and procedures for efficient, safe, and secure operations, and ensuring the assigned branch receives satisfactory audit scores.
  • Assisting in performing branch teller functions. This includes executing transactions on deposit accounts, loan accounts, and retirement accounts as needed, and creating an exceptional customer experience through their knowledge of available products and services.
  • Working with the Community Office Manager on supervising, leading and coaching the branch team. This includes ensuring personnel are well trained, effective, and optimally used, providing instruction regarding policy, procedure, and service and product offerings, and assisting new employees.
