Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) AND 2-4 years previous related experience in cash handling and/or customer service setting, preferably in a banking environment OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of thinking critically and assessing complex situations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring and performing efficient, effective, and professional retail operations.
  • Implementing policies and procedures for efficient, safe, and secure operations.
  • Ensuring the assigned branch receives satisfactory audit scores.
  • Assisting in performing branch teller functions, including executing transactions on deposit accounts, loan accounts, and retirement accounts.
  • Creating an exceptional customer experience through knowledge of available products and services.
  • Working with the Community Office Manager on supervising, leading, and coaching the branch team.
  • Ensuring personnel are well trained, effective, and optimally used.
  • Providing instruction regarding policy, procedure, and service and product offerings.
  • Assisting new employees.
