Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of P&L responsibility
  • 5+ years of management experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical, Marketing or Business.
  • 5 years of leadership experience and people management experience in a service-related or industrial business.
  • Ability to work “up” in an organization as well as “down” to the individual contributor, blue collar level and be able to relate to all in an equally effective manner.

Responsibilities

  • Driving the overall Branch Office mission, including leading, developing, and managing all positions within the assigned branch to achieve revenue and profitability targets, increase market share, and improve customer satisfaction within a geographic business market while adhering to company and legal policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring the ultimate safety of team members by driving a safety culture and ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly safety standard work is fulfilled.
  • Striving for continuous improvement of capabilities and elimination of waste from business processes using Lean methodology and the Terex Business System (TBS).
  • Ensuring all actions and processes are customer-centric, consistently meeting customer expectations and continually investing in process development to exceed expectations.
  • Fostering team member engagement to be the most sought-after place to work in the industry, ensuring employees understand and are committed to the organization’s goals and core values while enhancing their own sense of well-being and personal contributions.
  • Making sound business decisions in the day-to-day running of the branch.
  • Owning and delivering top-line margin expansion through effective local market pricing controls, productivity initiatives, and other process improvements that leverage branch spend.
  • Generating top-line revenue growth through the sale of service products & offerings, replacement components, and some new equipment.
  • Leading the branch operations team to achieve strategic goals related to revenue generation, profit attainment, and growth goals, including market share, through effective sales management techniques.
  • Obtaining market intelligence and developing strategy for gaining market/territory share.
  • Effectively coaching, counseling, training, and developing all employees.
  • Driving continuous improvement through the company performance management process.
  • Establishing a cost-disciplined culture within the branch and maintaining all expense budgets at or below established targets.
  • Overseeing the monitoring of inventory levels of products and components, timely receivables collection, and the control of working capital.
  • Ensuring responsibility for health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance.
  • Instilling measurement and control systems to monitor and improve safety performance and providing training to all employees to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Ensuring all branch operations compliance measures (including SOX) are in place.
