About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring a Branch Operations Coordinator for its National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. The role supports customer experience by processing and approving teller transactions, introducing customers to digital solutions and bankers, and providing service that builds relationships and addresses financial needs. The coordinator completes operational work in accordance with bank procedures and risk controls, supports the branch manager with operational tasks and scheduling, and resolves or escalates teller-line and customer or employee concerns under management direction. The role also includes motivating a diverse team to meet business objectives and exercising judgment within established policies and procedures. The schedule may include most Saturdays. The position is located at 203 Launchwood Drive, Laurinburg, North Carolina 28352, and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 1 year of customer service and issue-resolution support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination.
Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
Ability to listen, elicit information, and understand customer issues while providing strong service.
Ability to educate customers about technology and communicate the value of mobile banking options.
Ability to interact with customers and employees with integrity and professionalism.
Ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss.
Ability to organize work, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to exercise judgment, raise questions to management, and follow policy guidelines.
Knowledge and understanding of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

Accurately process and approve teller transactions, share digital solutions, and make appropriate introductions to bankers.
Complete operational activities while minimizing risk and following established policies.
Perform routine to moderately complex transactional, operational, and customer-support tasks using knowledge of bank procedures, products, and organizational partners.
Support the branch manager with operational tasks and scheduling.
Resolve daily teller-line operational issues under the direction of regional banking management.
Help customers and employees resolve or escalate concerns and complaints.
Provide customer service by demonstrating care, building relationships, and completing requested transactions.
Identify information and services that meet customers’ financial needs.
Motivate a diverse team to achieve its potential and meet established business objectives.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues appropriately.
