About The Position

RBC Dominion Securities is seeking a Branch Operations Assistant to provide superior service along with administrative and operational support to clients and employees. This role involves assisting the Management team with various administrative tasks, managing office supplies and boardroom schedules, and supporting Branch Operations Managers. Key responsibilities also include preparing cheques, handling daily bank deposits, processing incoming and outgoing funds, and managing account opening and related documentation. The assistant will also provide general administrative support to advisory teams in managing client accounts. Requirements

  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs
  • Exceptional client servicing skills
  • A professional approach to all situations to create a positive working environment
  • Ability to complete duties independently and seek out own answers and solutions
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of relevant experience in the financial services industry

Responsibilities

  • Answer the telephone and greet clients in an open, friendly manner
  • Provide attentive and accurate service to clients and respond to their needs
  • Complete administrative tasks to help the Management team: manage office stationery orders, boardroom scheduling, and provide support to the Branch Operations Managers, when needed
  • Prepare cheques and daily bank deposits
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing funds
  • Process account opening and any related account documentation
  • Support the advisory teams in general administrative duties in the management of client accounts
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as required
