About The Position

As a Branch Manager at First Bank, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of a bank branch and its employees. Your key responsibilities include operating as a business owner, fostering a team environment, instilling a client-centric and risk-aware culture, and helping clients achieve their financial goals. You will ensure operational excellence and cohesive effectiveness within the branch to successfully put our clients first.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or Equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Minimum of three years previous sales/customer service experience and/or training, banking sales/customer service experience preferred
  • Minimum of three years consumer and/or mortgage lending experience
  • Effective selling and referral skills
  • Minimum three years branch operations/risk management experience
  • At least one year previous management/supervisory experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial products and services
  • Must be registered under the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) or become registered upon hire
  • Background credit check required
  • Compliance with the S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations required

Responsibilities

  • Drive Profitability: Lead, plan, and execute a branded sales process to achieve sales targets and client loyalty. Grow branch revenue through the acquisition and share-of-wallet growth of consumer and business households. Maintain a foundational understanding of balance sheet and income statement.
  • Networking: Effectively lead internal and external partnerships to drive business banking results through business development and community involvement activities.
  • Client Interactions: Ensure the delivery of a differentiated client experience. Coach the team to engage confidently with clients in technology-enabled interactions, providing solutions and advice-oriented consultations that improve client financial well-being. Lead effective problem resolution, making banking easy for clients. Connect all of First Bank's solutions to deliver a seamless client experience in a multi-channel environment.
  • Coaching/Managing: Acquire and retain talent through effective onboarding, coaching, and development. Coach consultative selling to drive results and enable client financial well-being.
  • Compliance/Risk: Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and adherence to established policies and procedures. Exercise leadership, authority, and sound decision-making to mitigate sales practice risk.
  • Demonstrate Business Acumen: Demonstrates clear understanding of client and business needs and applies this knowledge to support and advance the organizations goals.
  • Drive Results: Provides direction, removes obstacles and coaches others to accomplish business results. Demonstrates courage to address difficult issues and resolve conflict situations successfully, with minimal disruption to the environment.
