About The Position

This role serves as a leader of leaders—partnering with Branch Operations Officers and branch teams to create alignment, support execution, and deliver exceptional customer and employee experiences. You’ll help connect strategy to day-to-day operations while building relationships across the Bank and within the communities we serve. The Branch Market Leader is a collaborative, visible, and adaptable leader who enjoys developing others, solving problems, and helping teams navigate growth and change. This is an in-person leadership role based in Central Texas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in branch banking, retail banking operations, financial services, or a similar customer-focused environment.
  • Experience leading teams and developing employees through coaching, accountability, and feedback.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and build relationships across teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate change effectively.
  • Proven organizational and execution skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Central Texas market as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support Branch Operations Officers across the Central Texas market.
  • Develop leaders by providing feedback, guidance, and growth opportunities.
  • Create alignment and consistency while empowering local decision-making.
  • Reinforce accountability while fostering a positive and engaging team culture.
  • Support succession planning and leadership development efforts.
  • Partner with branch teams to drive operational excellence and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Support execution of market initiatives and new branch readiness activities.
  • Monitor performance trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Help ensure operational consistency across locations.
  • Partner with internal teams to remove obstacles and improve execution.
  • Represent Horizon in local communities and help strengthen market presence.
  • Build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
  • Support efforts to introduce Horizon into new and growing markets.
  • Partner across departments to identify opportunities that strengthen customer relationships.
  • Translate priorities into action and support teams through periods of growth and change.
  • Influence outcomes through relationships, communication, and trust.
  • Balance operational priorities while maintaining flexibility and perspective.
  • Help create connection across branches and teams.
  • Other duties as assigned and/or taken on.
