About The Position
Wintrust is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations and actively develop customer relationships. This role involves working with other lines of business to maximize the growth and profitability of the banking center. The Branch Manager will be responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and facility management, as well as managing the sales performance of the banking center staff through coaching and development. They will also handle escalated customer issues, perform Personal Banker duties as needed, and represent the bank in the local community through networking and outbound calling efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail banking experience
- Previous retail banking and managerial experience
- Previous business development experience
- Experience working with small business customers
- May require NMLS certification
Responsibilities
- Oversee branch operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, and facility management
- Manage the sales performance of the banking center staff by conducting coaching sessions, overseeing staff development, and addressing employee performance issues as needed
- Resolve escalated customer matters
- Perform Personal Banker duties as necessary
- Establish and enhance the bank's presence in the local community by participating in networking events and initiating outbound calling efforts to drive branch sales
