About The Position

Alliance Catholic Credit Union is seeking an exceptional and experienced Branch Manager who thrives in a well-organized, fast-paced, and multi-task driven environment. The ideal candidate will work with their Regional Manager and VP of Retail Services to develop, communicate, and implement branch sales plans and directives. They will provide leadership through effective coaching and communication, conducting regular meetings with Branch employees to inform and train, and discussing areas needing improvement and changes in procedure. Responsibilities include Monthly Observation Coaching, By-weekly one-on-one coaching, and weekly Branch sales meetings. The Branch Manager ensures that members' requests and questions are promptly resolved, promotes branch business development, and seeks to broaden the member base. They will implement Credit Union member service quality standards and ensure adherence to service quality programs, proactively maintaining member satisfaction through branch employee knowledge levels, courtesy, appearance, responsiveness, accuracy, and communications. The role involves handling unusual or difficult member situations beyond the scope of branch personnel and working with HR to resolve serious personnel problems escalated to the Retail Branch Manager and VP of Retail Services. The Branch Manager will also fill in and perform duties in Branch positions as needed, supervise work scheduling and workflow of daily routine operations, approve paid time off, create schedules for staff, and assure staff hours/staff costs are within established criteria. Compliance with all credit unions policies, regulations, and laws applicable to carrying out duties and responsibilities is essential.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a college degree in a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years financial institution experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated success in a sales and service, solution providing culture.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • A successful record of community development.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a Management role.
  • Seasoned experience in coaching, mentoring, developing and motivating a team of individuals at a range of skill levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency including MS Excel and Word.
  • High aptitude for organization and attention to detail.
