The Branch Manager is responsible for leading, engaging, motivating, and holding accountable the assigned team members or CVS work area (production, pack-out, etc.). This role involves managing weekly scheduling to ensure workflow volume, delivery times, and file transmission times are optimized to prevent customer impact. The manager is accountable for team members' attendance and punctuality, as well as the accuracy and efficiency of their work product. This position drives the coordination and flow of work, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed before the end of a shift. The Branch Manager provides direction and guidance to team members, researches complex out-of-balance transactions, and makes necessary approvals. They monitor productivity standards, assist with training for improvement, and conduct daily huddles to foster communication, share results, address customer issues, and celebrate successes. Compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations is essential. The role requires identifying process improvement opportunities, collaborating with other supervisors and managers, and executing improvements. Safety and security risks must be identified and mitigated, with concerns reported to management. Compliance with company escalation and security notification policies is mandatory. The position requires the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds, as well as fostering engagement and collaboration with peer supervisors for seamless work flow. The manager ensures teller orders/deposits are balanced with appropriate documents and that balanced work is assigned and custody control is assigned to the Vault Custodian.
