About The Position

D.W. Distribution, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a Branch Manager to join our VALUES based organization. The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations of a manufacturing facility or branch, including production, quality control, supply chain coordination, workforce management, and financial performance. This role ensures efficient production processes, adherence to safety and quality standards, and alignment with company goals. Requirements

5–10 years of manufacturing experience or related process driven environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and safety standards
Experience with ERP/MRP and WMS systems and production planning tools
Proven leadership and decision-making skills

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field

Responsibilities

Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met
Implement and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations
Manage teams to ensure inbound and outbound transportation schedules
Align delivery schedules with Sales, Operations and Customer needs
Improve routing and delivery efficiency
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through reliable service
Address and resolve customer issues or delivery discrepancies
Coordinate with sales and customer service teams
Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production staff
Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Ensure products meet company and regulatory quality standards
Implement and monitor quality control systems and corrective actions
Collaborate with QA teams to reduce defects and improve consistency
Enforce workplace safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulations
Conduct safety training and audits
Promote a safe working environment and reduce incidents
Develop and manage the branch budget, including labor, materials, and overhead costs
Monitor KPIs such as production efficiency, scrap rates, downtime, and on-time delivery
Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials
Manage inventory levels to support production without excess
Oversee shipping and distribution of finished goods
Drive Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement initiatives
Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for operational efficiency
Encourage innovation and best practices across the facility
