About The Position

Southwest Mobile Storage Inc. is looking for a Branch Manager for our Rancho Cucamonga, CA location. The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the branch, ensuring efficiency across all departments, driving business growth, and maintaining high standards in customer service, inventory, and safety. This role requires a strong leader who can mentor staff, solve complex problems, manage financials, and ensure the branch operates smoothly. The Branch Manager will be involved in sales, employee management, financial oversight, and business development, while also maintaining relationships with customers and vendors. The role requires multitasking, effective time management, and a passion for the industry, with a focus on achieving company growth and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in container or construction equipment sales and rental business management.
  • Basic knowledge of the construction industry and operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
  • Proven experience in sales training, business development, and customer relationship management.
  • Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software (e.g., HubSpot), and RMI systems.
  • Knowledge of dispatch operations, trucking regulations, and equipment maintenance.
  • Familiarity with lead generation tools and GPS systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of employees, providing guidance and training to ensure a competent workforce.
  • Oversee financial management, including budget planning, financial analysis, and accounts receivable.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, focusing on business growth and customer acquisition.
  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer concerns.
  • Ensure operational efficiency by overseeing dispatch, inventory management, quality control, and safety protocols.
  • Hire, train, and manage personnel while developing a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor pricing strategies and market trends, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
  • Address and resolve employee issues, creating a supportive work environment.
  • Oversee work orders, cost sheets, and workers’ compensation claims to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other branches to enhance business opportunities.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the branch, including yard and building conditions.
  • Manage employee timekeeping and ensure accurate records.
  • Process and manage credit applications for customers.
